Cajun Navy
We were asked by Freethink Media to direct a video on a group of Louisiana-based rescue boaters called the Cajun Navy. This loose conglomerate was formed during Hurricane Katrina and sprang back into action during the Great Louisiana Flood of 2016. Perhaps most famous for their efforts during Hurricane Harvey, the Cajun Navy is run completely by volunteers and uses social media and free walkie-talkie apps to conduct rescues with dispatchers pitching in from all around the world. Their work is inspiring and shows the power we have when we can put aside differences and do the right thing for our fellow man.
